I agree with your view of education. Most people don't learn when they are told, but when they experience. My best learnings have been through traveling experiences, getting to know other cultures and languages. And this way, I get to know my place in the world.
This definition is original and meaningful. I like how you said that our education helps us form our OWN views of the world. This is very important, although we all may have the same curriculum we as students are all different which allows us to interpret similar things in very differnt ways.
When you said "form our own lives," that really resinated with me because i think that is a huge part of education. Teachers only give us the tools we are the ones who make the decisions, and we are the ones who choose our paths not the teachers.
